Easy Trip Q2 FY23 Results Key Highlights
- Q2 Consolidated Revenue up 91%, Net Profit up 4%
- 121% jump in Gross Booking Revenue (GBR)
- EBITDA Margins 34% from 60% due to rise in employee cost, advertising cost and other expenses
- One-off expense of Rs.13 Cr for partnership to advertise during Cricket Matches
- Partnership with Spicejet to sell ticket in Thailand through subsidiary Ease My Trip Thailand
- Cash as on 30th Sep 2022 is Rs.232 Cr
- GMV from Dubai Office in Q2FY23 is Rs.23.8 Cr from Rs.7 Cr in Q1FY23
- 3 Lacs Air Ticket sold in Q2 compared to 18.6 Lacs in Q1 (52% growth)
- Hotel Night booking in Q2 77,919 compared to 45,956 in Q1 (70% growth)
- Currently Air Tickets contribute 90% Revenue and 10% Rest (Hotel, Train Bus etc). Objective is to make it 70:30. At the time of IPO (March 2021) it was 97:3
- Other Expense comprise commission to travel agents, due to rise in business there is jump in other expense
- Business Segment – B2C 85% of revenue and B2B2C (Business through travel agents and Tie ups with other apps like HDFC Smart, Bajaj Finserve, Just Dial etc) 15% total revenue
